Clearly when I decided to quit a successful and well-respected career in the corporate world after 30 years, there was no logic to it. Except I had an overwhelming feeling that there was something else I was supposed to do with the 2nd half of my life and it gave me the courage to quit. Of course, it wasn’t that easy. First, I tried going part-time and then all different types of part-time. After a few years, I knew that I had to cut all cords. I had to let go of everything to find the new. Not the husband, children, suburban lifestyle but something else.
